This has to be true it is on CNN. There is no way that CNN would ever lie or be mis-leading in anything. I mean seriously, it is the Clinton's News Network. And we all know how upstanding people they are. Arctic sea ice cover at record low[^]

Are you saying that CNN is lying about what the scientists (from the National Snow and Ice Data Center in Boulder) actually found? If so, do you have any proof beyond "Clinton's News Network"? And what are you doing reading CNN? Isn't there another network out there that can give you a more convenient representation of the truth?

Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea. - Mark Twain

"threatening polar bears" Good to see thay got that in. Of course, it is clear that plar bears evolved since the Medieval Warm Period, or perhas since the Holcene Maimum because of course, during those warm periods they would have been made extinct. "Bangladesh" Yea, a country 3 times as poplulated as the UK that lives almost entirely on the river delta of one of the wrolds largets rivers. If they all took a piss at once they would make 10,000 homeless. Anyway, back to science. What I find interesting is that the earth warmed up since the little ice age untill about 1900. Since then temperatures are pretty much flat (re US and UK temperature data for the century) but the sea has continued to get warmer. Is this then just a result of the sea being a bigger heat sink than the air and thus taking longer to respond to the post little ice age warming? And as Carl Wunsh stated, as the sea gets warmer, it releases CO2, so is also part of todays high CO2 because of warmer seas? In fact, this "land gets hot. sea gtes hot later. CO2 increases" is actually what the Vostok ice core data shows. CO2 following land based temperature by centuries.

Truth is the subjection of reality to an individuals perception
