The only conspiracies that concern me are the ones I am completely unaware of. By the time I find out about it, its probably a done deal. Nothing in the entire universe is more useless than morality without authority. A morality free of hyprocrisy is no morality at all.

Hey now! With Vick gone, maybe people will realize our O-Line is TERRIBLE, and we'll do something to fix it. We need some receivers too. Oh yeah, and a quarterback, Herrington can suck it, and I don't want Shockley taking snaps...

During the Boston/Yankee series this past weekend, a kid went to his first major league baseball game. He was starstruck when he saw the players warming up on the field. He asked Shelley Duncan (a Yankee) for an autograph. Duncan graciously signed it for the kid. He wrote "RedSox suck, Shelley Duncan." For those who are not familiar with MLB, the Yankee/RedSox rivalry is one of the best in all sports. In Boston you routinely see Yankees Suck t-shirts, and the opposite in NY. There are a ton of t-shirts from both sides, including "Got Rings" for the Yankees, and "Jeter sucks ARod" in Boston. There are tons of these shirts in both stadiums, even when they are not playing each other. The parents are now stating that this was inappropriate, and they want the league to suspend Duncan. How inappropriate was it when the fans chanted Yankees suck 300 times during the same game. I think the signature was brilliant. I am from NY, but if it was the reverse, I would have the exact same response. It made light of rivalry, and he made the extra effort to help make for a memorable moment for the kid. In fact, that signature is now worth a lot more than it would have been if he just signed his name. In my opinion, the league should just leave this one alone, and worry about larger problems, like HGH.
I smell an excuse for a law suit, perhaps?

Even with Vick, the falcons were a joke. Without him they are just sad.

As someone who lived in Oklahoma for 4 1/2 years (ending June 2006), I was appalled that the only sports coverage was for a region that was comprised by the distance from Norman (OU) and Stillwater (OSU). Anything that occurred outside this "area" was hardly even mentioned in the sports. I had to endure those years listening to OU fans brag about how great the football team was. When OU lost to lowly TCU, you could hear a pin drop anywhere throughout the state!;P:laugh::laugh:

As a third generation sooner (sadly now living in Indiana) all I can say to that is: BOOMER SOONER!
