u mean u want some task or some application such that u can develop it for practice. if so then i have so many of my dream projects which i'm unable to do due to lack of time and which i need for my day to day use.

:wtf: What ?? Are you kidding ? So you want to pretend to have programming skills but in fact you are just too lazy to learn. And what, afterward when you have found a job (by cheating them), you'll come here again and asking us to do the job for you ? X|

Two things to consider 1 - why would we want to help you, when we may well be the more deserving person you want to do out of a job ? 2 - Do you really think if you lie your way into a job, you will be able to keep it ?

if p_ wants us to send the projects with source code, then he is wrong. as Cédric Moonen said, he (p_) would be cheating the company, to whom he is forwarding his resume. but if he only wants some idea of the task or assignment, such that, he himself can implement it, then thats nothing wrong. iam looking for the opinions.

I suspect we're dealing with an issue of communication. You said you wanted a project to add to your resume. A resume is a document that lists your achievements to a potential employer.

why don't you just download some projects over here (and there are plenty for beginners) and learn by there, and look at the code to see how things work ? :~

no boss, no confusion at all. take down. ;)1.you can develop a database software for a school. how ever, many softwares are available on the web. but your own product will be of much love to you. ;)2.once upon a time(3.5 years ago), i made a general purpose software called FILE STATION. but now i lost its backup. i will spell out its features, and you can develop it and forward it to me. the basic features are as below. if you are interested i shall explain in detail. ;P2.1.file generation based on the given criteria(incremental, decremental, random, constant) or based on structure. ;P2.2.file comparison. ;P2.3.file splitting and merging. ;P2.4.file transmission through serial port and through ethernet. this feature will be more useful in research industries. and i want many more features, which i shall guide you later. ;)3.if you know the basics of HTML, then also i have an interesting task for you in vc++. ;)4.if you know active X controls then also i have many more assignments. now choice is yours :mad::wtf::omg:

I assume that he wanted to say the he wants to mention his skills in his resume, and along with it, wants to mention that he worked on those projects as part of his hobby to increase his skills. If this is the case, then I don't think its bad.

Here you go. YOu can now put on your resume that you know how to write "hello world" in many languages including VC++. Don't forget to emphasize LOLCODE, very handy for quick reports for your boss. // language C #include < stdio.h > int main() { printf("Hello world!\n"); } // Hello World in C++ (pre-ISO) #include < iostream.h > main() { cout << "Hello World!" << endl; return 0; } // Hello World in C++/CLI for .NET using namespace System; void main() { Console::WriteLine("Hello World"); } // Hello World in ISO C++ #include < iostream > #include < ostream > int main() { std::cout << "Hello World!" << std::endl; } // Hello World in D import std.stdio; void main() { writefln("Hello World!"); } * Hello world in Cobol ***************************** IDENTIFICATION DIVISION. Where do you want to work? what do you want to do? Do you want business programming? learn to write a client application that reads/writes to a database server on another machine with a complex user interface (multiple windows). Do you want to be in media services? write a client/server application that streams video/audio from one machine to another with a very attractive, yet skinable user interface. Do you want to be in 3D graphics? write a 3D landscap tool that integrates complex 2D animations into a 3D world along with real-time object positions. etc. Start with what you WANT to be doing, then find a project to learn in that area.

Sure, for $80 USD an hour and disclosing full credits (you'll have to put a link to my website on your resume) to me while I retain full ownership (I'll have to charge you a monthly, recurring fee for the privilege of listing said project on your resume), I'd be to do anything you like.
