Why are there so many experts ?

In the Lounge there is a thread where Chris Losinger explains some real basics of cosmology. Then right away someone argues with his cold logic not offering a viable alternative. Do people really think they are that smart, that they can argue with Chris ? Thread here [paul] Regardz Colin J Davies

Colin Davies wrote: Are you suggesting that Chris is wrong ? Not at all. Going by the definition, his explanation makes perfect sense to me. And A.A. certainly didn't do much in the way of casting doubt on it. But just because CL's explanation is correct does not mean it is complete. The Universe as defined is everything observed or predicted. This implies an observer - if there are two observers and each observes/predicts a different universe, then what is in ones but not the others is outside. --------_**
The real problem is that you don't have to be religious to be a religious fanatic, you just have to be a fanatic.

Also I have noticed that you akmost always post stuff that should not be disputed IMHO. (So you are on a small pedestal ) :-) The idea/concept that nothingness doesn't exist is a tough one for many folk to believe possible as there brains are only wired to imagine a limited dimensional universe. Thus they seem to think of nothingness as a vacuuum of sorts which is incorrect. Maybe instead of Nothingness I should be saying "non - existant space time reality" Regardz Colin J Davies
