I know it says meetings and get-togethers, but you're just taking the mick here. Have you not heard of this marvellous little invention called a telephone? If you don't know his number, why don't you IM him? But, please stop using this site for your little chit chats.

This isn't a chat service or email system, it's a discussion forum for planning meetings (for instance, if someone on the site is going to be in the UK and wants to get together with any other UK-based CPians). This isn't the first time you've used the forums in this manner. Please stop and learn to use an Instant Messenging application (Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger are all free and easy to use) or an email program.

See the many responses that the post engendered. If you want to communicate with each other, then either use email or use IM. Things like this just end up cluttering the forums, which are there for people to ask questions and get help - they aren't there for you to chat to each other.
