I find this truly shocking: Warming temperatures in polar regions are causing an increasing number of polar bears to collapse from heat exhaustion, local hunters report. "Because of global warming, the bears' normal way of life is changing rapidly..it's tragic." [^]

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference

Nah. He's already on the verge of cardiac arrest. It can't go any higher!

"It just isn't sporting to shoot one of these creatures when they are suffering like this." Good grief - and using a f***ing hunting rifle is "sporting"? Can a fully fit bear outrun a bullet then?

now the hunters won't have to resort to using hunting rifles for killing the polar bears. Instead they can revert back to that time honoured Canadian way of killing Harp seal pups. Just give them a good whack over the head with a wooden club. Repeat as required. ;)
