Hey! I live in Ohio. Please tell me the CrankyLepton (or whatever his nom-de-CP is) doesn't live here too.

Nanosolar's Breakthrough - Solar Now Cheaper Than Coal[^].

Fold a towel lobster[^] For some reason men I don’t even know will give me lollies for doing absolutely nothing. Then he'll offer me a lift home, but I say no, 'cause he's done so much for me already, the kind man. He restores my faith in humanity. :)

There is a company near Bristol doing the same thing, don't know if the two are related. They print the dye onto the bottom layer and laminate on the upper layer. I wonder what the efficiency is?

Now if you send that to your mommy she will explain what solar power is for you.

You have my condolences. Not only do you live in the same state, but.... :^)

Color me sceptical. I hope I'm wrong, but there have been many so-called breakthroughs in solar PV that haven't panned out.

yeah i think thats an important point - we've been hearing about cheap solar for decades now and its still anything but cheap When it takes 10+ years to pay for itself it ain't cheap. If i could power up the house for 2k (or maybe up to 5) say - then its feasible otherwise i'll stick to the grid. cheerypips Bryce

If anybody did, I'm sure it would fetch a pretty penny on eBay...

Well, the important thing is to keep trying! :) We'll get there in the end.

Joshua has asked before where I live. It might be fun if he ever comes over, although he probably can't afford the gas.
