I'm starting a new project and will probably use Subversion for version control. To complement this, I need something to handle issue/bug tracking and came across Trac (http://trac.edgewall.org/) and Mantis (http://www.mantisbt.org/). Both are free and appear to be fully featured. Should I use Trac or Mantis, or should I use something else altogether.... and why ?

I quite like OnTime from Axosoft[^]. It does much more than track bugs, and is well worth a look at. I believe its free for a single user.

Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

I hadn't heard of Axosoft OnTime before, but it looks very good. I'll check it out.

You can also try Dynamsoft Issue Tracking Anywhere Hosted, a web-based bug tracking system. It uses SaaS (Software as a Service) as the delivery model and is fully managed by Dynamsoft. It has free hosting plan. You can refer to: http://www.dynamsoft.com/products/ITAhosted\_plan.aspx If you would like to hold the server by yourself, you can use the standalone edition. For more info about Issue Tracking Anywhere, please refer to its home page: http://www.dynamsoft.com/Products/bug-tracking-issue-tracking-anywhere.aspx Thanks. Catherine Sea

I have been tasked with leading the implementation of a new bug tracking system. We have previously been using PVCS tracker (by Merant), an ancient version which, of course, is now unsupported. Apparently, this product was purcahed and revamped into Serena Teamtrack. I'm just getting into it as far as reading some documentation, etc, but was wondering a)if anyone has any experiences (read Horror Stories) with this product(TeamTrack) and general pros/cons. Joe
