To look at me you would just think I am another thin guy, but I am borderline thin/underweight. I'd like to put on another stone at least, but it sure is difficult figuring out how when I can't see what I am doing wrong now. I hardly get any exercise short of walking great distances, I eat two large meals a day (breakfast - which is always big enoguh to keep me hunger-free till tea), and tea. And I usually just have a few snacks during the day, such as a ham sandwich or two and a packet of crisps, followed by pate on toast before bed. I've seen other people eat less and exercise more, and yet they are still overweight. It may not always be like this though, it appears to be a Wulff family trait - the same thing happened to all of my sisters at the start. Then at about twenty five the magical tapeworm-like properties of the Wulff Compression Gut™ start to fail and you have to eat restrictively. :(( ____________________ David Wulff "You don't go to the kitchen to take a piss - if you do, don't expect to be served." - peterchen on Bill SerGio. There are two things that could be a cause: 1. Metabolism - You stuck being thin. 2. You twitch. Do you do a lot of nervous movement etc? It can burn as much as 25% of calories eaten. Roger Allen Sonork 100.10016 If I had a quote, it would be a very good one.

So if I prod an overweight person repeatedly with a stick, will they lose weight? ____________________ David Wulff "You don't go to the kitchen to take a piss - if you do, don't expect to be served." - peterchen on Bill SerGio. Eating less will not help you loose weight. Indirectly it might, but only because your body allows that to happen to keep itself alive. It won't take long to put it back on that way. Jeremy L. I'm not overweight by any means. I've probably gained around 5-6lbs of muscle over the past year through sensible weight lifting. My delts are quite impressive now. I'd like to loose some of the flab so I can see a bit more muscle definition though. Yes, but you're female, and constantly socialised by pictures of anorexic women to feel unhappy with what you weigh, so that the weight loss industry can keep cashing in.
