Looks like a really poor japanese language conversion to me. There's just no excuse for sloppiness like that though, you'd expect better from Sony to hire a better software developement company for the job. Aw, I want another MD. i knew it, they cant be bothered to get an english speaking person to make the english apps, they probably wrote it in chinese/japanese/someotherese, and got a chinese/japanese/someotherese to translate it.

calm down please. and i am curious that in your native english and standard english and maybe totally acceptable by you english. what should the UIs be translated? thanks. :)
He's remarkably calm, Zhoujun:) It's incredibly annoying to spend a huge pot of money on a product and find it rendered almost unusable by worthless instructions. The ones Microsoft and other US companies publish are bad enough, but those coming out of other countries are an obscenity! This screen shot contains English words, to be sure, but it conveys no meaning to the reader. The order, tense, and diction are all incorrect, and what the author intended to say is anyone's guess. Me, I'd just click the OK button and pray. But that approach usually leads to disaster. Unfortunately, if one product from a company pisses me off, I will never again consider that brand for any reason. When Lotus123 was first released, the copy protection scheme was so convoluted and inconvenient for me that I refused to let my department use it, and never in the 20+ years since have I ever allowed any Lotus product near any project I worked on. Grossly inadequate translation is equally unacceptable - if a company wants to sell in my market, it had better take the time to learn my language properly or stay home. If enough people share my experience with a bad product, and my response to it, the offending company will very shortly find itself out of business.
