Nope, I could have just left it alone, but I am so damn tired of seeing people threaten other people with lawsuits (both frivolous AND baseless)and the like that I could not just let it go. I think what pushed it over the edge was wehen I changed my sig to include the quote "I'm a whiney-ass bitch...". That was most definitely going over the top,. In the end, I proved my point several times over, and after beating that horse to death, I assume that Alex won't be pulling that kinda crap anymore, privately or otherwise. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

I don't understand why the sudden Alex bashing. He asked Christian to change a sig because he felt it would harm his professional standing. Christian was tardy so the threats came out. OK - fine - maybe a bit of an overreaction (and certainly something that is going to make an Aussie like Christian throw fuel on the fire). So the guy said things on a public forum he is now regretting. We're all grown up here and we all make mistakes. I'm just surprised that so many have jumped on the bandwagon. Haven't we all said things we regret? Don't we all wish we could take them back, and wouldn't some of us get a little worried when what we said suddenly found itself pride of place as the signature of one of the higher profile members here? I'm not apologising nor condoning what Alex did. Everyone must take responsibility for their own actions. What saddens me is how it's gone from a private altercation between two members and degraded into the sort of schoolyard bullying that you would expect in a primary school. cheers, Chris Maunder I spent a minute looking at my own code by accident. Do you feed crickets to pet lizards? If the "sport" doesn't involve 200mph lap times with each lap starting with the word "YEEE-HAAAAAAAW!!!", I don't understand it. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

My only problem with NASCAR is that they will allow foreign auto makers to compete! I think they are doing a great diservice to the sport.

I wouldn't call it bullying. I was actually trying to taunt Alex into also threatening *me* with a law-suit. Besides, look at the erie calm that settled over the forums after it was over. It was kinda spooky. :) I'll try to be good in the future. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

Sorry, I was just commenting on all the messages here in soapbox about him which I saw - QOTY, Alex == Bill Sergion etc.. The thing went far beyond control. The only consolation is that John actually didnot fly to Alex's place. I believe that everyone is at fault (CG, Alex, ... an me) and lets close the chapter here.

Also, it's not a personality disorder no more than your insecurities in the way you look. Why is it considered vein to care for your body or yourself, but not to care for a computer? In the long run, which is more important? People have so many double standards it's unbelievable at times. If I hate myself - poor me - I should seek help. If I love myself - bad me - I need a dose of reality. There's no winning. Jeremy L. Falcon Homepage : Sonork = 100.16311
