Because some people are just extremely stupid and rude for no good reason; he is one of them. That's just the way it is. It was not your fault, and you can be happy knowing that you're a better person than he is.

Well, he seems to think the world owes him a living. I suspect that his english isn't very good and that frustrates him when it comes to working in a highly structured subset of a language he doesn't understand, but that is no excuse for his behavior. Screaming at people who ask straightforward questions in an attempt to help him will soon isolate him both here and at work. I'm not sure how it works in India, but I can't imagine that over there a junior developer can substitute bad manners and hissy fits for common courtesy and ordinary respect any more than he could over here. Sooner or later he'll get his comeuppance. Unfortunately, you probably will never know when that is. Hopefully, you can take some comfort in the fact that a number of far more intelligent and experienced forum members immediately spoke up when he attempted to browbeat you.

OMG! I don't see any reason for him to grow wild.Hmm..interestingly, all his posts are of that kind. Guess he suffers from somekind of mental disorder. No wonder if the computer is going to throw an exception at him stating 'Intel Inside and Mental Outside'. These kind of people either are'nt techy and try to defend themselves pulling up their collars and pretending as if they are, or they throw the junk which their superiors might have thrown at them. I would say, GIGO

Oh, most of the posters are nice guys. But since CP has "Millions of members and growing", hence, by statistics, the idiot member happens. :)

You are absolutely true. They are just laughing stock for us that God created to ease our tensions in our routine chores and march ahead in a more productive way.

They might be (and perhaps would be) are suffering from acute mental hysteria. They are feeling hapless and helpless in their lack-of-ability to think logically at the problem on hand thus speculating and diving into hallucinations of diversified kinds and subsequently venting out their anger and frustrations everywhere.

And this permalink thread, for sure, is a good testimony of Seasons Joke. Thanks for sharing. There are lot of such instances which I have in my own work neighborhood. I should plan getting a video camera sometime so that I can record these jerks in my neigborhood and podcast it.

The SMS style is so boring... it's hard to read for us non anglophone people, and IMO it denotes an intellectual laziness and a lack of rigor. Not a good start for someone pretending to work in IT. I won't say I'm against rudeness. For instance, I really enjoy ready John Simmon's answers. They are rude but so funny, and often accurate.
