On a recent server-wide backup I managed to fill five 700mb CD's with MP3's. This made me wonder... a) How the hell did i manage that on a 56k modem?? b) There can't be 3.5gb of music that I like out there when I have a very limited appreciation of music? I did a check and to my amazement, every single track I had, I enjoyed and still want to listen to. Yet, when the radio is on I can barely hear one single song in a day on any station that I enjoy. Plus I can walk through HMV or Virgin Megastores and out of 12 huge rows of hundreds of albums I will only ever find ONE CD that I would sort-of consider buying. Any thoughts?

Originally I used Napster of course, then when that went the way of the gutter I moved over to Limewire, then iMesh, then Gnucleus, then Morpheus for a long time. Then when morpheus went over to Gnutella and lost its speed i went over to Kazaa which I am on currently. How about u? Or are you a good little boy and buy all your music?
