I would say the Plantronics Audio 645 USB Stereo Headset looks much more comfortable to wear. I have found my wrap around ear headset to be much more comfortable than standard cans. Having said that the microphone on the Logitech looks like it is better positioned i.e. not directly in front of the mouth - makes it easier to sip on all that coke. One question I would ask is how long are you intending to wear the headset for in one session? As this will be a big factor in terms of comfort and weight.

In that case I would recommend spending a lot more than £40. I say this because 7 hours is a long time to have something on your head/ears. For this length of time I would say that comfort and sound quality are the most important aspects. You are probably going to want something with really good sound quality so that you don't have to play music really loud and regret the deafness this has caused you in twenty years time. I would look on Amazon and pick out 5 or so sets of cans that have good ratings in the comfort area.

I have the Bose noise cancelling headphones. I only use them on my MP3 player though. They are more expensive but I looooove them.

I used them for a while (3 months, borrowed). They are the best I've ever used, no doubt. But I don't have pockets deep enough to spend so much on headphones. You can get phones 15% inferior for a price 80% lower (try some Sony or Phillips at a big store).

They beat anything I've heard. My husband's car has a supreme audio system which I thought was awesome until I got these headphones. They are about $170US but I snagged mine for 150 off of eBay. If you have a place that lets you try them I suggest doing that. But I absolutely love them. I definately have gotten my money's worth from them and I've only had them since August.

I listen to music all day and will be DJing again this summer so for me I get value out of them.

You get what you pay for, even though Bose is usually considered a little overpriced by audiophiles (they are still good). I got a Sennheiser HD595 a few years ago and later a good DAC (digital/analogue converter) to go with it, and I can honestly say it's one of the most worthwhile electronics purchases I have ever made.
