It's a yes or a no! If you post, you increase your standing guys. Don't be afraid to respond. :)

it's not about "standing". you do realize that by constantly starting new topics and then replying to yourself that you're constantly pushing other topics down, right?

I have read posts where married guys will still wear condoms with their wives. I know that you can agree on not having children, but sometimes the girlfriend or wife may secretly disagree and take matters into her own hands. So the pill is not very safe not because it doesn't work, but because you significant other will secretly stop taking it, and then blame the pill for not working. I wish I could have sex without protection with my GF, but I know that the female species is very tricky. Ah, the terrible condom dilema, if you wear it, you lose sensation, but if you don't, your wife will insure biology takes it's course. What are your thoughts on this? Do you guys suspect women are this sneaky also? I know many guys who will wear condoms with their GFs and wives even though they are on the pill. Has your GF or wife become pregnant after you decided against having kids while she was on the pill?

My knee-jerk reaction: If you can't trust the girl when she says yes she's taking the pill, why the hell is she your girlfriend? Why would you associate with an untrustworthy person? Better-thought-out reaction: No birth control is 100% effective. Using more than one is common sense when you really do NOT want a baby. Which would you rather have, a little less sensation or an unwanted baby? --Mike-- Just released - RightClick-Encrypt - Adds fast & easy file encryption to Explorer My really out-of-date homepage Sonork-100.19012 Acid_Helm

My girlfriend told me lately that the pill is about 99% trustworthy, not that it bothers me right now, but if i knew that when i was teenager i would probably have been more carefull (was that statement somewhat indicating that i didn't think too much on the AIDS issue then?, YIKES!, it DID!...). "It could have been worse, it could have been ME!"

What I don't get is, if I know that taking antibiotics stops the pill from working, how could it be possible they did not ? I am only surmising this was the case for your friends, but it is the common thread for all of ours who fell pregnant on the pill. Christian I am completely intolerant of stupidity.
