    Hi, I have an application, where in i want a new data grid to be displayed when i click a record in the grid. and the new grid should be displayed just beneath the row clicked (i.e) the new grid should be within the old grid. Can somebody help me in this regard. Thanks in advance

      Use template column and put a new grid inside that. Find this inner grid in main grid's data bound event. Bind the child grid with the required data. By default the child grid's style can be set to "none" and when the link is clicked, using JS change this visibility to "block" which will display your inner grid.
