    I tried to withdraw 120.00 from a atm machine. The machine spits out only 80 of it. There is enough in the account. So either the machine is empty or something is amiss. So I try again to withdraw the 40.00 difference. The entire thing is processed as you would expect except this time I get no money and no reciept. It just spits my card out and says thank you have a nice day. Grr. Have to go inside now. Need to check my account status and make sure it doesnt state I took money out that was never recieved. Maybe ask if the machine was empty. Inside I explain what happened only to recieve a attitude. Her tone suggests that she thinks that I am lying, because the reciept from the first transaction stated no errors and it gave me no reciept the second try. Several personal Ids later her tone gets worse and she becomes extremely pissed off. Completely ignoring anything I say to her and falling back on, sir, the reciept doesnt say that happened. In a attempt to shorten the story, a manager came and the machine was jammed. I had to be credited the difference. Im still a little pissed about the whole thing. Even if it seems it was my fault. If I ask to withdraw a valid amount of cash and the account can cover it, I expect to recieve that amount. Not some random amount of cash with no indication as to why. When I went inside, I just wanted to tell them what happened and a get a account statement. Not be made out to be a lyer because it is a machine and machines dont make mistakes.

      Well, the woman who tried to make it look as if you were lying was a secretary of sorts huh? That kinda woman cannot be expected to be much more intelligent than a silkworm. So forget it man! She also probably thinks that everything she sees on TV is true as well!!! Nish

        Write a complaint (a real letter, not email which can be easily discarded) to the bank manager, the branch manager, and any other managers whose names you can get.                 I wont be doing buisness with them much longer. The only reason I have continued to use the bank is because I have direct deposit. So its sort of a hassle to get everything worked out. Last time I ran out of checks, they wouldnt give me any temp checks. They stated they they dont have such a thing and the only thing they could do for me was a money order for my bills. They can sit on thier money order. That could be a rant on its own. The only reason I needed temp checks at the time was because the last time I ordered checks from them the women wrote my info down on a post it. Im serious. Three Months and several calls and they still had not sent me any checks.

                  Are you using the same bank as Dilbert? The Bank of Ethel? Run, don't walk, to the nearest branch of any other bank available! They're all better than this one. My bank sucks, too, but only if I have to deal with them in person. They have a great online service, though, and I can cash a check anywhere in town, so I almost never have to deal with their underpaid, untrained, and overworked tellers. It's been 4 years since I last walked in the door:) There are three types of people in the world: Those who make things happen; those who watch things happen; those who wonder what happened.
