I think the humour is underrated in this post as well...

Aaah... It's time to relax. You know what that means: a glass of beer, your favorite ergo chair... And of course, The Code Project loaded on your Personal Computer System. So go on, and indulge yourself, put your feet up. Lean back and just enjoy the articles. After all, CP sooths even the savage :bob:

Shog9 wrote: I think the humour is underrated in this post as well... Strange that the 'u' doesn't remain crossed out when I quote you - maybe IE can spell. :) The problem with having the three ratings is to find a common value for the whole message. The latter part was deadly serious, so it brought the overall humour value down and pushed the sincerity up.

This is a test message to gather feedback for my new signature that will, hopefully, provide a per-message indicator of my intended humour, anger and sincerity (or h.a.s. for short), by analysing the tensions patterns in my brain at the time of writing. So far it seems to generate acurate reults, appart from the time I really needed to take a piss when it thought I was making a joke... ;P At the moment the ratings indicators will load when you move the mouse over my sign-off at the base of my message. I will be changing this to some sort of "click here to show h.a.s. ratings" approach, just as soon as I figure out how to right-align the text without adding an extra line. Anyone? Thanks to Marc for giving me the idea - it just jumped up and bit me when I was wasting more of my time that I don't have in your sig. :) Now, maybe, people will stop dragging my messages through the mud for the petiest of reasons. :|
