I watched Alien vs Predator Requiem today (Aww c'mon, I'm not that :-\ ) Safe to say, it's the worst in the alien predator series so far. If anyone is planning to watch it (I highly doubt it), please refrain. You can watch a B-grade softcore instead and be much more entertained. :laugh:

The first one was utter pap too. How they can make such a balls up of the alien concept is beyond me. I think the script writers must be about fifteen. The 2 AvP games for the PC on the other hand were bloody brilliant.

I think the writer was more like 20. Dan Obannon came up with the alien concept while attending college at ucla. He also wrote and filmed Dark Star while in college which is similiar to alien in some respects. I believe shortly after writing Alien he went insane and was instutionalized. I do not know how much of the above is correct, heard it second hand from some sci fi nuts who were into minutia of the genre.
