I understand that the Dutch media/broadcasters all decline to broadcast Geert Wilders' film which is purported to show what the Koran is. This site (which currently seems to be only place-holder page) is supposedly the home-page for the movie: Fitna[^] Oddly enough, Dutch media have no objections to broadcasting 'Deep Throat' ... nor, apparently, any objection to publishing disgusting cartoons[^] mocking Christian objections to this.

Congratulations. You're well on your way to lowering yourself to the level of the radical Muslim masses. You should be proud.

now that is a moronic statement if I ever read one.

Mike Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

I see no difference in between Muslims objecting to mohammend demeaning cartoons and Christians objecting to anti-christian cartoons. The parallel seems prety clear to me. What did you find "Moronic" about that?

It would be perfectly appropriate for Muslims to object do demeaning cartoons, just as it is for Christians. Object your goddamned muslim ass off. No one is saying anything should be different. However, Muslims don't merely 'object' to such cartoons, they threaten violence, have riots, and demand that their religion receive special protection from a free press, freedom of speech and expression. And a society more concerned with 'multi-culturalism' than with their own fundamental rights is far more sensitive to the outrage of Muslims than to that of Christians. Ironically, to the secular humanist set, the most humbly expressed Christian outrage is far more threatening than is the most violently expressed Islamic outrage.

Most of your post is valid (so I gave it a nice vote), but blaming everything on secular humanists seems to be your own brand of the same. As I observe, the right-wing seems to be bending over and taking it up the rear from the Muslim world (even George W. "The Shrub" Bush). He, and his noxious cohorts, are rather far from your secular humanist concept - for like you, they blame them for problems. As an example: Everytime the west experiences an attack by Islamic terrorists, the apologies come from their heads of state! They try to draw your attention to the 'good Muslims'. What I didn't hear is any of these 'good Muslims' apologize for their fanatatic co-religionists. That includes, to this very day, the 9/11 atrocity. I could rant for pages about how the West is bending over and taking it up the backside. Unfortunately, since humanity hasn't evolved to the point where peace can be achieved through good-will, it must be achieved by fear of retribution. The West needs to grasp this concept - and soon.

You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me If you so called right wingers religious protectors have forgot what your Own bible say and got busy in crap in name of progressiveness then it doesn't mean you blame Muslims even if they say something wich is in YOUR own Bible as well. maybe hypocrisy is the best policy of you guys?

Perhaps you've forgetten these parts of the bible: Vengence is mine, says the Lord. Thou shall not kill. In fact, if I recall correctly, both faiths have those in common...
