I'm impressed, Parken. Looks like you have managed to capture Ilion's level of critical thinking and personal insight, without his pompous diction. Taking your spewage point by point... I'm most likely smarter than you, for what that's worth. I'm not judging you, I'm merely saying you're wrong about Obama, based on his history outside of church, everything he's said, written, and done over his career in public life, and the testimonials of friends of all ethnic backgrounds, all of which count more than a 10-second clip you saw on Fox News. I've voted Republican and Libertarian in past elections, but will certainly be voting Democrat in this one (worst case, I think Hillary is less unfit for the office than McCain). There seem to be quite a few Republicans that have a very different view of Obama than you. Finally, I would like to think that, like me, Obama would say that, thankfully and by the workings of a merciful creator, you are definitely not a "typical white guy". Unlike Obama, I would probably say that you're a miserable little ass-hamster. I do like your honest signature, though, you miserable little ass-hamster.

Well, I'm not a .Net developer. I work mostly rel-time software for flight simulation. Tell, you what --- let's be less of adversaries and just make an "I told you so bet" for bragging rights. I don't care for any of the candidates either, including McCain. To me he's just a liberal Democrat in Republican clothing. But if it comes to who I want answering the phone at 3 AM, I'll have to choose McCain. Hillary scares the living hell out of me. Obama's true colors are now being discovered. It's amazing to me how so many people can be drawn in by a very glib speaker --- not unlike the "Christians" who flock to the charlatans and give them all their money. A lot od smart, but naive, people.

I hear ya, I think he decided to be Republican a few seconds after he decided to run for President. What scares me the most about this election is that it seems more than usual that you can't tell anything from what these candidates say. I was all for Duncan Hunter till he dropped out. Then it was Thompson... Then Romney... I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I want to know how McCain came to be the only choice when NOBODY wants him. But at least with McCain, I don't think we need to worry about Communist Health Care. Though he doesn't want to fix immigration either. How people can hear "we're going to tax the crap out of you, and we refuse to fix Social Security" and think they're good ideas is beyond me. I suppose that's because Obama said "we're leaving the tax cuts in place, and starting Socialist Welfare Communist Health Care" and nobody questions were all that money's going to come from.

If I went to KKK meetings for 20 years, what do you think that would make me??? And what do you think black people would think I am? And why should it be any different for me to think that a black man can be as racist as a white person? Or don't you believe that blacks can be racist? Do you think his pastor is racist? Do you think his pastor hates America? And if you listened to this garbage for 20 years, how would people classify you? Like I said, you're not thinking like you have any intelligence, or maybe you are just naive?

No I don't believe his pastor is racist, and I wouldn't compare is sermons to KKK meetings. Now who's comparing apples to oranges? I would consider myself naive if I listened to a 10 second clip of a man ranting and assumed anyone who attended his church completely agrees with every single word he says.

You are taking a man who is respected by his constituents, respected by his party, respected by most of his country, and about whom few who have actually had contact with him have had a single unkind word, and trashing him based on a handful of 10-second sound bites on YouTube and a handful of right-wing editorials.
