Extolling the concept of "freedom" in America that some of us still revere, in this case freedom to choose, is NOT EQUAL to praising an individuals choice. When you point to the aberrant action of an individual and portray it as indicative of a culture, while expressing approval of the aberrant actions within your own culture, you have to expect someone to call you on it. Well, it is difficult to keep up with all the variant points of view. For example, for my part, I am not opposed to abortion, just to the Roe v. Wade decision. I just think any "right" to an abortion should be actually defined in the legal code somewhere rather than conjured out of the constitution by a judicial hat trick.
