I guess you could do that for real quite easily, by just making the sign the same way those magic rulers and stuff are made that change the picture when you angle them (by having a zig-zagged surface of prisms). [is there a proper technical term for those?] Having the sign at a slight angle would make it appear to flip between 2 images as you drove past. Could be quite distracting though -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!
