My understanding is that the new testament was written sometime between 200 and 500 AD. I've been wrong plenty of times before though

Even Christians claim the New Testament was written 2000 years ago[^]. Is your point that the Old testament is older than 2000 years old, or do you have ideas of your own about when the New Testament was written?
