New York: The US army witnessed the highest number of suicides in more than two decades last year when at least 115 soldiers killed themselves, partly because of the stress of war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Source[^] Great! So will Mr.Bush send more fellow Americans to Iraq and Afghanistan? I think when there are rulers like Bush, one doesn't need to worry about decline of US.

Regardless of your political views I would hope we could all agree that's a socking waste of young life.

Judiciary and army should be strongly kept secured under lock and key, miles and miles away from politics.

The army should never get discouraged which would be detrimental for the country. I admit that the government is behaving weird and amuck but they should stand strong against these transient horrors. When I say 'transient', I mean it. The elected government is just for five years and then it would go out of scenes. The army is for the country. We need to salute them for their noble services to the nation and encourage them.

Perhaps refraining from gloating would be respectful

This is a lower rate of suicide than is found when compared with an American civilian population of similar ages and gender proportions. And, of course, a lot lower than the 542 suicide bombers who killed themselves and many compatriots in Afghanistan and Iraq last year.
