can't i access the session variables in the .ascx file(web user control)?

If you have an apple & I have an apple and we exchange our apples, then each of us will still have only one apple but if you have an idea & I have an idea and we exchange our ideas, then each of us will have two ideas!

i have to pick some values of variable in web forms to web user control. and i can't use the session valiables there? It always evacuate the values from session , while using them in .ascx file. Don't u think so?
