Looks like Obama is going to get nominated. I saw McCain's speech tonight and it was pretty awful. The guy seems decent enough but he doesn't have age on his side and his "That's not change we can believe in" bullet point after each topic against Obama is stilted and annoying. He really doesn't need to tell us what to think.

And a radical leftist at that. We could not have hoped for a better set of circumstances.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Whoever gets in has a mess to clean up. Even McCain is pretty much saying "my fellow republican administration have screwed the pooch and I'm gonna fix it all" (McCain 2013[^])

Its been interesting. As with any group there is that one person who just needs to shut the fuck up. We've done 2 out of the 7 classes so far and its concentrated pretty much on the labour.

We've been watching a video every class. Last time was a Polish video and we discovered that women in that part of the world are disturbingly hairy

That America could go from the racism and persecution of coloured people last century to real possibility of a president of mixed race is great and an achievement they should be proud of. Given the level of rabid anti-islamism we see from many of the septics here its fucking hilarious, or perhaps im just childish

                                    No doubt.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Spent most of my life wondering why who your father was, what colour your skin was and where you came from defines what you are now, where you are going and what you are capable of.)

That America could go from the racism and persecution of coloured people last century to real possibility of a president of mixed race is great and an achievement they should be proud of. Given the level of rabid anti-islamism we see from many of the septics here its fucking hilarious, or perhaps im just childish

I doubt most Americans will find it amusing if something like This[^] ends up getting signed into law by him. He might be new and exciting now but my guess is that will wear off very quickly. Edit: that wasn't me who 1 voted you.

I dont know much more about him than the fact his father was an African Muslim by birth. Good luck with whoever you guys get, I reckon you'll need it.
