      Just restore the backup of your XP that you did before upgrading it to Vista. Ohh!! you forgot do the backup :), well then you need to reformat and reinstall XP from scratch. - Mathias

        Oh no are you sure I forgot to get backup and also my drives are NTFS can I use of Format.com on the DOS prompt?

          Look for a ~WINDOWS.Q folder in C:\ or the drive XP was installed on. If it's there, there should be and option in Programs and Features control panel. If it's not there, boot a Linux LiveCD instead of using format.com and use the distro's disk manager to format it (as Fat32) , then install XP.
