Change we can believe in, indeed.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Funny how that works when the majority of Americans declare themselves "Christian". I wonder what percentage of the American population are catholics that don't use condoms?

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

Anatomy of a shit post: 1) Not realizing that the story is about NYC 2) religious bigotry 3) ignorance of easily available facts Nice one. I score this troll 8/10.

How the fuck did you get that? Is any mention of Catholics automatically bigotry, or only ones that point out that the laity does not agree with the clergy?

Oh bullshit. If that's the best you can do go back to gradeschool. On the basis that you attacked a rhetorical question, I score you a -3.

No, I'm saying that Christians probably make up the majority of the 1 in 4 in New York with herpes simply because those identifying themselves as "Christian" in the U.S. exceed any other demographic.

You're mistaken - I love the U.S. I'm a Canadian - I grew up with America beside me. Having lived in many places throughout the world, I find Americans among some of the most accepting people. Anyways, it wasn't a shot at Americans, it was a shot at organized religion. Religion doesn't necessarily equate with moral high-ground. Thank you.
