Why the fuck do people post articles with zip files containing projects that won't compile without tweaking the project settings? :wtf: What's even worse is when an article is two years old and the author hasn't ever bothered fixing the broken shit :mad: The article that finally lit my fuse is: http://www.codeproject.com/library/vcf.asp[^] It is such a waste of time to have to mess with shit like that. TEST YOUR ARTICLE BEFORE YOU POST IT!!!!

Biting the hand that feeds you eh? Fixing project settings is a lot easier than writing the code yourself - consider it a small price to pay! How long would it of taken you to write the code? How long did it take you to "tweak the project settings" ... ?

Why don't you just write it yourself, you baby. Besides, it isn't that big of a deal anyway, it looks like the steps to setting up the project are covered in the discussion thread below the article.

I don't think Jim Crafton will write anything like that. Step back, rub your eyes, take a deep breath, stretch a bit, and reflect on the relative importance of CP, CG, the age / travel time sustained by supposedly 'fresh' cheese curds, and Life in General. - Shog9

The reason that the artical hasn't been updated is because the author is busy making the VCF into something fairly cool. Have a look at http://vcf.sourceforge.net/index.html[^] Oh. and once the artical has been posted to the main sections he wouldn't have been able to edit it even if he wanted to.
