    From the article:

Sheikh Muhammad Munajid claimed the mouse is "one of Satan's soldiers"

Yes, as I'm sure that in an effort to look menacing, Satan's soldiers wear yellow shoes, red shorts, white gloves and are mice.. What sort of soldier is that? One that nibbles you?

Sometimes I think there is a competition among some Muslim clerics as to which can issue the most insane pronouncement and be taken seriously.

That could be so. The cleric forgot to add Itchy from The Itchy and Scratchy Show on the Simpsons  How about a jihad against Scooby Doo? Now, that would be insane.

They're probably still watching the MM shows from decades ago, which I do believe were controversial during the cold war.

Without reading; is that perhaps a Muslim cleric? If so, he must die. As a fascist cleric first, and then we may discuss other reasonings.

If this causes so many problems in thier society why don't they just follow China's example and block what they don't want? I'm sure Micky Mouse could be sifted out of Google (do no evil) Results and the sensors could block all those satanistic cartoons comming over cable?

The big question is, how many people agree with this guy, or is he just an isolated nut job ? I'm sure Adnan thinks it's a great idea, but I'm interested in knowing what sane and rational Muslims have to say.
