    The only remotely feasible method of time travel is by creating a closed timelike curve, and even then it's not possible to get back to today because by opening such a curve you are creating a reference point to which you can come back at a later date. But of course, it's just speculative.

        Time travel is one of those things we can kind of prove is impossible from the obvious fact that nobody in the future seems to be doing it. There are only three possibilities: 1) No one lives in the future. 2) Time travel is impossible. 3) Time travel is possible and people live in the future but the entire remainder of human history from now to the end of time is very tightly controlled and only a very few and well trained individuals get to go poke around in the past. Kind of like "Time Squad". I'm not a real reverend, I just play one on CP.

I'd have to disagree with you there... I does personally be believing that it is possible. Have a look around the web at some of the major scientific universities quantum physics pages... there is some interesting stuff out there.

They just don't have enough control over how close the lasers are passing to each other in order to bend it accruatly enough. This sort of stuff it interesting reading :-)

                I can see it now... time travel eventually becomes a reality and people discover a way to go back to alternate universes of the past (such that their own presents cannot be affected)... and life is great... and the guy in charge of the Time Travel Fund decides to take the money and run! :-) Regards, Alvaro Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. - Albert Einstein

                  If time travel is possible, then why isn't anyone here from the future? or maybe, that's what UFO's are?? Hmmmmm. :omg: BW {insert witty/thought-provoking saying here}
