That depends on the state of the rest of the world. If we need to continue to assert American exceptionalism around the world, then yes.

    Oakman wrote:

bubbas preferably. The rino plutocrats would be expunged or reeducated.

Actually, I don't. But, IMO, it already has collapsed.

Certainly all federal laws not supported by Jeffersonian constitutionalism.

      the Shannon Gambit...

Indeed... Step 1) Gut the republicans of all non-conservatives, forcing out the Bush/McCain faction. Step 2) Rebuild around a core conservative base. Step 3) Let the democrats collapse under the unrestrained radicalism of their party leadership. Step 4) Give the American people two clear cut and unequivocal choices: European style socialism which will no longer be something that can be denied after four years of Obama/Pelosi/Reed leadership, or unapologetic, pro-capitalism, pro-christian, pro-Jeffersonian traditional American conservatism.

Discussed here[^] and also here[^]. I have become an instant fan of the language. Here is my first attempt at it : i am also a great fan of the scots, apart from the silly skirts they give us also the elixir of life and also having had three large ones i am inclined to say my diction is getting better, also, i am able to say with confidence that i am able to say british constitution but i am disappointed that my idiom does not soar as much as i would like to, so, let me get back to you after i have had some more. Pardon me if it sounds lame, also, with practice I should get better.

Amazing. You are "Jeffersonian" but you reject Jefferson. You are pro-Christian but you don't attend church and I suspect you are agnostic. You are a patriot who actively roots for the downfall of his country.

Neither federal law nor the Constitution will matter in the slightest if you are right and the USA has collapsed.

Understand the pro-Christian part as, "Love thy neighbour", not as, "stone the adulterer", and you should be able to understand without adult supervision.

Brady, with all due respect, Stan means something much closer to the establishment of a state religion, and it'll be stone the adulterer and the abortion doctor.

Yep, Palin certainly does remind me of a small yappy dog. A small yappy dog would make a great vice president. Probably over-qualified for the job though.
