That certainly lowers my opinion of Pinkerton (difficult because it was already pretty low, but clearly not an impossible task). If intended as satire (and i think not) it was pretty poorly done. If not, it makes Pinkerton not merely a loon and partisan tool, but puts him in the advanced Ilion category of nutjobs.

      From the article:

But had McCain really gone after Ayers AND Wright AND Alinsky-Lucifer, all at once, he would have had a strong argument that Obama was, and is, well out of the mainstream. And then all the information about Tony Rezko, Emil Jones, and the scandal-ridden Daley machine, would be all the more compelling to reporters and voters, because, as they would have to admit, a “pattern has emerged.” And, for that matter, let’s talk about the great state of Illinois, where three governors in the last 40 years—Otto Kerner, Dan Walker, and George Ryan—ended up not only convicted, but imprisoned. And a fourth, incumbent Rod Blagojevich, may also end up in the clink. That’s quite a streak of corruption. And what does Obama have to say about any of that? And what did he know, and when did he know it?

      I love it. ;P

I think you'll find our Stan will be voting the other way  But seriously you'd be hard pressed to find a successful senior US polititian who doesn't have at least ephemeral links to the odd Satanist or fan of Macheaveli these days. As far back as Woodrow Wilson, Colonel House, an active satanist, was a presidential advisor with controversially privelledged access. The last 4 US presidents (yes of both parties) have all been advised by, among others, David Gergen, a member of an occult society who by his own admission annually attends mock sacrifices and ritual ceremonies in the woods of northern California. Such people desire power and influence over just about everything else and they obviously have no scruples about how they get it so it should not be a surprise they end up in these positions. Sadly the poor judgement and moral ineptitude of one president after another allows this to continue.

            because he quotes the guy?

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

:-D Isn't it delicious when they do that? It's a perfect example of how true believers are a liability, not an asset.

It actually may put him at a higher rank than Ilion.

                        Thank you.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.
