How do I create Database Script?

Hi, how can i create a database script? so that i dont have to copy paste my declarations of creating the database and tables from notepad. Im using MySQL Server 5.0 Thank you!
Can you simply save it as a text file and then use

command in mysql command line client?List of all MySQL commands:
Note that all text commands must be first on line and end with ';'

clear (\c) Clear command.
connect (\r) Reconnect to the server. Optional arguments are db and host.
delimiter (\d) Set statement delimiter. NOTE: Takes the rest of the line as new delimiter.

source (\.) Execute an SQL script file. Takes a file name as an argument.
status (\s) Get status information from the server.
tee (\T) Set outfile [to_outfile]. Append everything into given outfile.
use (\u) Use another database. Takes database name as argument.
charset (\C) Switch to another charset. Might be needed for processing binlog with multi-byte charsets.
warnings (\W) Show warnings after every statement.

really? so i can just save it as db.txt and inside it it will contain: create database myDatabase; use myDatabase; etc. etc.... then i will just type: source db.txt ? Thank you! ;)
