Error in Webconfig file.

My appn. was working well. Suddenly It throws, the error in web config file called "It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS". I've never changed anything in my webconfig file. What the problem will be? Tnx in adv.

If you have any backup folder (with a web.config) in your web application folder, you have to move that backup folder outside your application folder. Kind regards, simsen :-)
