    At least it warms mine to see our President-elect taking some well deserved time off from planning how he will save our country from doom; all the while conspicuously consuming $3500 a day. It must have been the Change He Needed. :)

            10 guests. $3500/10 = $350/night per. Not all that bad for Hawaii. Besides, who cares how he spends his book profits (or his Senate salary). One hell of a lot less than the bonuses paid to all those investment bankers Bush and Paulson funded this Christmas (1.6B in bonuses to executives of TARP fund beneficiaries).

                You seem to think I have a problem with it. I find it encouraging that, even though the economy is in the tank and people are worried about the future, there is someone around who identifies with our plight by showing us that not everyone is suffering. I am happy for him.
