Err, nothing can be run before the BIOS starts.

I guess you could make something that plugs into the bios socket, and has the original bios chip plug into it (which would work the way console modchips do) But this isn't going to be possible with VB (as VB creates windows programs, which won't be able to be run in such a way) You'd need to learn assembly to be able to write your own bios replacement -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!
