No, that's the result of too much trivial knowledge (which, in this case, has affected my meager typing skills). Not a bit of it. A primary difference between the sounds represented by 'b' and 'p' is that 'b' is voiced and 'p' is not. Likewise, 'g' is voiced and 'k' is knot. On top of which, the word-ending '-ing' is so common, that I appear to have developed a macro in my typing routines, such that 'think' often gets typed as 'thing,' and I don't always catch it.
