all my life i been unkind to people with smelly feet, now, to my utter chagrin and horror i detect a slight smellyness around my own feet. how do i make my feet smell sweet again ? please avoid unhelpful answers such as : 1) cut them off : no thank you, i need them to walk around 2) wash them : i did 3) go back to india : impossible because i am already in india 4) foot deodorant : i wish to eliminate the smell not mask it with deodorant thank you!

I'll bet it isn't your feet but your shoes. Throw out the ones you have, buy new ones and switch around what you wear.

As in left shoe on you right foot and the right shoe on the left foot. Never mind the pain and discomfort, that just means its working!

Most foot odour is little to do with washing your feet often, and more to do with not keeping shoes on too often! don't wear the same shoes two days running, use a shoe disinfectand, and after a bath/shower, ensure your feet are very well dried. Also, rubbing with lemon juice will stop the bacteria that cause the smell without irritating the skin. I too suffer from Trainer Rot, and found this effective.

That sounds promising. I shall give it a try. Thanks. :)

As others have said... New shoes. Just make sure you wash your feet before you wear them or you may transfer the bacteria the new shoes. Don't wear shoes around the house and in the warmer months wear sandals outside. You might use foot powder even though it's a little messy...get the stuff with corn starch, it seems to keep the moisture down the best.

Pumice has the downside of being how the government gets into your head.

Probably some bacteria has got in, ask a pharmacist what would help.

Strangely enough, I felt the same when I came home yesterday. I soaked my feet in a bucket of hot water for about half an hour, and not only did it get rid of the smell, it also freshened me up. I'm going to do this every few days now!

                                  Cheers, Vıkram.

I think if it's a blow torch, the antibacterial aspect can be taken for granted.

I think if it's a blow torch, the antibacterial aspect can be taken for granted.

Ah, but you see, an anti-bacterial blow torch is designed in such a way as to render it maximally effective against bacteria.

Strangely enough, I felt the same when I came home yesterday. I soaked my feet in a bucket of hot water for about half an hour, and not only did it get rid of the smell, it also freshened me up. I'm going to do this every few days now!

                                          Cheers, Vıkram.

Geez, what the heck is it with you guys and your feet? I hardly even know what my feet look like let alone smell like... The way I figure it, if the only thing someone can say about me is that my feet stink, I must be doing things about right. And, as far as that goes, anyone who can make it past my breath isn't likely to be someone who is going to be concerned about my feet.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.
