The performance sure was bad (I think that's why they lipsync outdoor concerts a lot) but the Boss is an icon for a lot of folks and most of us watched him and heard memory's record not the reality.

I've never been part of a reality where Bruce has sounded any different. :) I know he is an icon and I have had friends over the years that worshipped him, but frankly I have never understood it. He has written some good songs, but it has taken someone else recording them to make them worth listening to.

I changed channels at halftime and watched a Texas Hold'em tournament until I was sure he was finished.
