Actually, more men are killed by their wives than women killed by husbands.

Having carefully considered your comment, and given it its due thought, I'd say that was cobblers....I am struggling to find any data to support either pov though - do you have anything?

C# has already designed away most of the tedium of C++.

Both Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot maintain the position! It is generally true in fiction.

This time in India[^] I certainly don't claim that women are angelic but look at the ratio of attacks and murders by one gender on the other.

The pub attack incident was a grave warning to Indians that right-wing Hindu terrorism is not very far behind the Muslim terrorists (in India). The only difference right now is that the Muslims have bombs and AK 47s while the Hindu terrorists typically believe in fist fights and maybe the odd knife. I felt good about the pink-underwear reaction though :-)

Once you took it out of the context of religious/political problems and turned it into the battle of the sexes, it was pretty much inevitable that a lot of males would belittle the content. Whether that should happen or not is one thing, but that it will happen shouldn't be up for debate.

I dunno Nish, I kinda liked the, "Consortium of Pub-going, Loose and Forward Women". Reckon we could get a chapter started up here in Indy?

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. I didn't know you were in Indianapolis. But yeah, it'd be nice to have some nice pub-going loose forward women (whether in Indiana or in Atlanta). :)

Not at all, I detest violence unless it is in the correct arena. (Sports or war, even then only legitimate war, but that is a different thread) Certainly I do not condone wife battering. Serious question though, why do so many battered wives remain with the violent partner?

                            Well blow me down...[^]

6.4% of men in England and Wales between the ages of 20 and 24 say they were victims of abuse in 2008
5.4% of women in the same age group reported being victims of domestic violence

I disagree with that. Men are generally good guys, when we see a loose woman we say "ah! a loose woman" and look on them with a kindly and indulgent eye; whereas when women see a loose man they grind their teeth and say "what a bast*rd, how disgusting etc. etc."

Because they've been brought up to be victims. This is about much more than beatings, like beheadings for going to school.

Well, we all know that all men are implicitly loose, whereas women have to explicitly demonstrate their looseness.
