Wow. the little girl in you is upset about what a pussy you've become. I often begin the day with a fifth (breakfast being the most important meal) and usually mix in a case of beer by 10 am. If you can't drink at least 50 shots and then run a marathon, I pitty you my friend. it's time to up the training regimin wouldn't you say?

How many shots does a litre bottle contain? I remember finishing a bottle and half of tequila with a friend (in about 3 hours) and then holding a "stand on one foot" contest. The one who overbalances, and puts the other foot down first, loses.

On Holiday I often have a Glasgow Fry-Up, Beer for breakfast, and have on several occasions been drinking in excess of 24 hours. (It's the Irish in me, genetic, can't help it) Some people are just not very good at drinking!

Meh! Only 24 hours? There is not enough Irish in you, sir. :) I have on occasion done some 72+ hour marathons. :~

After 50 shots I'd have to drive the marathon. I'd be too drunk to run.

I am reasonably sure that 2 normal adults cannot finish 1.5 litres of tequila in 3 hours without blacking out. Because that's 750 ml of 40% alcohol. I say "normal" adults though. If either of you are borderline alcoholics this may be possible because your liver may not be functioning normally. Though some tequila bottles are 500-600 ml or so and often have less than 40% alcohol in them. If that's so it may be true that you guys downed about 400-430 ml each (14 shots in the US). The maximum tequila I've ever had (I don't like the stuff) is when a friend and I finished a 750 ml bottle (around 2 1/2 hours) and then we went for a crappy tamil movie (Sarath Kumar and Nayan Tara) and I don't really remember the story much. We both felt reasonably drunk but it wasn't a smooth happy kick like you get from say vodka or scotch.
