Joe Biden (for our non US friends, he is now vice president of the US) parts of quote (during campaign); Some say Barack’s “articulate” And bright and new and “clean.”[^] The media sure loves this guy, A white interloper’s dream! But, when you vote for president, Watch out, and don’t be fooled! Don’t vote the Magic Negro in – ‘Cause — Liberal Rag LA Times paraphrase (I belive Stan posted source article below). It was that liberal rag the LA Times that first called him the magic negro. Limbaugh and Shanklin, then ran with that context, referancing it in the Peter Paul and Mary song[^]. The L.A. Times, they called him that ‘Cause he’s not authentic like me. Yeah, the guy from the L.A. paper Said he makes guilty whites feel good They’ll vote for him, and not for me ‘Cause he’s not from the hood. In addition early in the presidential campaign while Obama's star was rising, Sharpton's star was falling [^]and he resented it(additonal ref[^]). Which makes this parady even more biting. It's using quotes from the left, putting them in the context of a renouned 'liberal' folk music group and mocking it. And yet doing it with a smile, with good cheer, with out getting angry.

I applaud Governor Jindal's decision. In fact, none of the stimulus money should go to any state or congressional district whose representative voted against it. That seems extremely fair to me. If they don't want the money, they shouldn't take any of it and god bless 'em. Just think how much money they'll be saving their constituents.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, a potential 2012 GOP presidential candidate, has suggested his state may not be interested in all of the roughly $4 billion allotted to it in the economic stimulus package. Louisiana reportedly faces a possible $2 billion budget shortfall next year. It has been allocated $538,575,876 for infrastructure spending in the stimulus package, and the White House predicts the bill will create 50,000 jobs in the state.[^]

The biggest problem with this idea should come clear when you consider the 98% of constituents (in Texas at least, percentages may vary from state to state) who asked told their congressmen not to vote for the TARP and were ignored.

You're such a fool. The term "magic negro" has nothing to do with racism ... unless it's indirectly dealing with the racism of your sort (which happens to be the major racism in America -- well, that and the racism of blacks).

The majority of districts whose representatives voted against the Recovery bill are welfare districts to begin with. They suck more out of the Federal government than they have ever paid into it in taxes. They already owe the rest of us bigtime for supporting their sorry asses with OUR taxes. For example, Alabama gets $1.84 in government largesse for each dollar they pay in taxes while Michigan pays $1 in taxes to get back 85 cents in Federal spending. Other Southern states suckle just as vigorously at the Federal teat while contributing very little to national wealth.

On the other hand the southern states contribute disproportionately to the number of Medal of Honor winners, Distinguised Service Medals, Silver Stars, Bronze Stars, and Purple Hearts. It's hard to pay a lot in taxes when you are existing on a serviceman's pay, so perhaps soldiers ought to be paid as much as the UAW is in Michigan. And it's even harder to pay a lot in taxes when you are sitting in a hospital learning to walk on artificial legs while "sucking at the Federal teat" for enough money to eat and pay for your rehab. By the way, do those figures for Michigan include the bailout for the car industry? No, I didn't think so. Do they include the new bailout asked for yesterday? No, I didn't think so.

If you don't give them stimulus money because they voted against it, you shouldn't take their tax money to fuel either. This is a 2-way street.

["Barack the Magic Negro" lyrics] SHANKLIN (Sharpton impersonator): Barack the Magic Negro lives in D.C. Sung as if by Al Sharptons perspective, based on LA Times article about Obama. Al Sharpton prefers bull horns when addressing his throngs, song sung as if Al was singing from bull horn. Barack the Magic Negro lives in D.C. The L.A. Times, they called him that ‘Cause he’s not authentic like me. Yeah, the guy from the L.A. paper Said he makes guilty whites feel good They’ll vote for him, and not for me ‘Cause he’s not from the hood. See, real black men, like Snoop Dog, Or me, or Farrakhan Have talked the talk, and walked the walk. Not come in late and won! Oh, Barack the Magic Negro, lives in D.C. The L.A. Times, they called him that ‘Cause he’s black, but not authentically. Oh, Barack the Magic Negro, lives in D.C. The L.A. Times, they called him that ‘Cause he’s black, but not authentically. Some say Barack’s “articulate” And bright and new and “clean.” The media sure loves this guy, A white interloper’s dream! But, when you vote for president, Watch out, and don’t be fooled! Don’t vote the Magic Negro in – ‘Cause — ’Cause I won’t have nothing after all these years of sacrifice And I won’t get justice. This is about justice. This isn’t about me, it’s about justice. It’s about buffet. I don’t have no buffet and there won’t be any church contributions, And there’ll be no cash in the collection plate. There ain’t gonna be no cash money, no walkin’ around money, no phoning money. Now, Barack going to come in here and ........ [^]

If your position was as strong as you seem to think. You wouldn't need to reduce yourself to petty characterizations. You betray your position with this childishness.

                                        This statement is false
