I've just logged into my online banking to find that they've stopped offering electronic statements in OFX format (which I normally import into MS Money) and are instead now offering PDF as the only download format. WTF? I mean, what the fu*k do they expect me to do, print the statements then type the printed statement back into the computer?!? Bad enough the date range for the transactions always defaults to something random rather (say first couple of weeks in January rather than the month up till the current date) and the textbox for the date isn't big enough for for it to be fully visible etc, but they seem to keep finding new ways of screwing it up even more!

But this way they were able to fire two of the programmers who had been charged with maintaining the site. With the money saved they'll be able to provide more mortgages hire more hookers in Vegas.

Change banks to one that serves you better, but make sure both know why you are changing - the old bank deserves the slap in the face of losing a customer for its stupidity, the new on deserves encouragement not to make the same mistake. Sadly, neither is likely to give a damn about a single customer, but if you don't make the point, who will?

Mine tees me off because they only store 90 days online. Haven't the idiots heard that a gigabyte of storage costs just pennies nowadays? I mean, c'mon, each monthly statement only uses 5K or so.
