Well you need to explain to me how a computer is going to run an application that it doesn't have installed because that is beyond my comprehension.

From the Flaphone documentation
No need to install any software (If you already have Adobe Flash Player installed).
Adobe Flash Player IS an application that is REQUIRED for that service to work. So they DO HAVE TO INSTALL something, period, because that's how computers work. Now let me point out one last thing. You want to develop a VOIP application without understanding fundamental computer technology. That just doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
