has anyone else here developed the ability to tell who has posted a question in the VC board merely by looking at the subject ? :suss:

sure. it's actually simple : there is a group of people who keep asking the same kinds of question (or the same question) over and over again. i'm not claiming ESP, just mild amusement. -c

i know, just giving you shit about it. I've not been reading the C++ forum (or any of the forums, actually) as much lately, but i know there are some people i always pick up on right away...

Hello Chris L :-) If I see that the same question has been asked in 3 or more forums, I can make some very good guesses as to who it might have been. If I see half the content in the subject itself, again I would have a good guess as to who it could be. And then there are some people who use a unique pattern in their subjects. Them, I can easily identify. Regards, Nish p.s. Of the above (1) and (2) - I don't appreciate, but (3) is ok with me. It's actually nice too!

Yes, I noticed that myself.... It's funny how some people can take the ball and run with it and others just seem to tread water, never quite learning anything for themselves.
