      SilverLight is something like Flash, but with power of .NET you could find further information here[^]

            SL2 is working with .Net Framework 3.5 SP1

              The tools you need to develop Silverlight apps only work on VS 2008. There's a free version if you don't have it: Visual Web Developer 2008 Express[^] Silverlight itself does NOT require the .NET framework 3.5 SP1, as indicated by another reply here, although the tools probably require it. Mark
