Bob Parks: Candidate Obama, Meet President Obama[^] ... though, myself, I'd have said, "... but the man who [allegedly] became president has once again found that talking shit is much different than having to deal with real world situations."

There was never any doubt that a democrat administration would continue the same basic Bush policies. The attacks on Bush were never anything more than leftist talking points to begin with. There will always be enough blithering morons to believe such things to influence an election, but the real issues were about shoving the country hard left, not ending the necessary means of defending the nation. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Spain goes through with putting Bush administration officials on trial. That will create a wonderful situation where the democrats, to be intellectual honest, have to support an international effort to punish Americans who acted to defend the country, or prove themselves to be the utter hypocrits they really are. I would be a beautiful thing.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Thats too bad. I was really looking forward to the spectacle. Oh, well, I suppose that every one will have to agree now that nothing illegal was done after all. They all got their political milage out of it, now its no longer importnt.
