Anyone know of or use an automatic registration site that registers fliers exactly 24 hours before scheduled flight. It seems when one registers almost to the second (24 hours ahead) with Southwest there are already 50 people signed up, I suspect they are doing it automatically, probably proprietary travel agent software, but perhaps a public web site provides this 'service'. edit--- found this[^], but it's more of a 'how to' code your own...

Harder to trace if it comes from South Africa.

Hey, there are snipe[^] service's of a similiar nature focused on ebay, and ebay doesn't seem to mind. You can sort of think of it as sniping an 'A' seat on Southwest, not a DOS attack.

I was thinking more along the lines of a DOS attack to keep other out while you pick a seat.

Those "50" people are thier "Gold Club" type members...(people who fly with them weekly and have racked up tons of miles). My wife flies with SW, she is one of those peeps as she's been using them for years...of course last I remeber, she still had to log on 24 hours prior, she was just guaranteed a "A" ticket regardless.
